Ingredients

  • 2 fresh tuna steaks

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 ripe avocado, diced

  • 1 small tomato, diced

  • 1/4 red onion, finely chopped

  • Juice of 1 lime

  • Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)

Preparation

  1. Prepare the Tuna:

    • Brush the tuna steaks with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

  2. Make the Salsa:

    • In a bowl, combine diced avocado, tomato, red onion, lime juice, and cilantro. Gently mix and set aside.

  3. Grill the Tuna:

    • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

    • Grill the tuna steaks for about 2-3 minutes on each side for medium-rare (adjust cooking time based on your preference).

  4. Serve:

    • Place grilled tuna steaks on a plate and top with avocado salsa.
